NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police are asking for help locating two people who are believed to have information about a fatal shooting in the J.C. Napier public housing development on Sunday night.

Police said their efforts to locate 18-year-old Derresha Lyons and 29-year-old Montez Duncan have been unsuccessful so far. It's believed they have "important knowledge" about the shooting of Eric Swanson, who was shot while walking along Lewis Street.

Swanson ran to his girlfriend's house. While he was on the back porch, a red vehicle pulled up and dropped him off at the VA hospital. He was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died during surgery.

Lyons is last known to have lived on Jasmin Drive and Duncan is last known to have lived on Stokers Lane.

Anyone with information on the shooting or the whereabouts of Lyons and/or Duncan is urged to contact Detective Andrew Injaychock at 862-7749 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
