One Of Two Injured Memphis Chemical Plant Workers Dies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - One of two Memphis chemical plant workers hurt in an explosion has died.

WMC-TV reported officials at the Regional Medical Center confirmed 50-year-old Gregory McKnight died Wednesday night of his injuries.

McKnight and a co-worker were burned over a large part of their bodies on Monday. The explosion was at the PennAKem plant. There were 10 other employees also working who escaped injury.

The cause of the incident is being investigated.
