CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A man took his dog along for the ride in his attempt to steal an ATM from a Clarksville business.

A surveillance camera inside a commercial business in the 2400 of Ashland City Road captured video of a man breaking the glass door at the business around 4 a.m. on September 23.

The video showed his dog in the vehicle outside the store.

Clarksville Police said the man stole some items, then tried to steal the ATM. His efforts were unsuccessful.
