Man Killed at LP Field Following TSU Football Game

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A man was killed Saturday night as fans funneled out of the stadium following the TSU Homecoming football game at LP Field.

According to Nashville police, a man walked up to a police officer around 8:15 p.m. and said he'd been stabbed in the chest, and then the victim collapsed. Medics responded and transported him to Baptist Hospital. At approximately 9:30, the hospital staff said the victim had passed away.

The investigation is ongoing.
