NASHVILLE, Tenn.- According to Metro Nashville police, it was a
fight between brothers that ended with one dead Saturday night in the parking
lot of LP Field.
Witnesses told police that
an argument and physical fight between two brothers in a parking lot of LP
Field Saturday night resulted in one brother fatally stabbing the other.
Police say the victim is Jesse
T. Alexander, 26. According to police, the brothers, along with family members
and friends were tailgating following Tennessee State University's homecoming game.
The other brother, Joshua Alexander, 38, drove away from the scene. Jesse
Alexander was transported by ambulance to Baptist Hospital where he died.
Sunday, detectives were
still investigating and interviewing witnesses. Joshua Alexander is not
in custody and has not been charged so far. Detectives said they are still
working to determine what exactly took place between the two brothers.
