Clarksville Bank Robbed

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Police in Clarksville are searching or a man who robbed a Bank of America Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at the Bank of America on Madison Street just after 2:30 p.m. Officials said a man came into the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left the scene, fleeing north on foot.

Police described the suspect as a light skinned black man, about 6'0" to 6'5" in height wearing a black zip up hoodie and mirrored sunglasses.

No one was injured in the robbery. Police have not said how much money was taken from the bank.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Clarksville Police at 931-648-0556.
