Man Wanted For Alleged Stabbing Of Wife In Columbia

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Police said they are searching for a man wanted in the stabbing of his wife in Columbia.
Police have issued warrants for attempted first degree murder for 43-year-old Joddie Daniel White. It was possible he may be on his way to Alabama, but a specific location was unknown, according to authorities.
Police said they believe Joddie White stabbed his wife during an altercation at their home on Bradford Circle around 7 p.m. Wednesday and fled the scene.
Officers called to the home discovered Karen White with a stab wound to her chest.
Karen White was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where she underwent surgery. She was in stable condition on Thursday morning.
