Posted: Updated:

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Police in Clarksville have arrested the man suspected of robbing a local Bank of America earlier this week.

The robbery occurred at the Bank of America on Madison Street just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said a man came into the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left the scene, fleeing north on foot.

Police later identified the suspect as 44-year-old Troy Anthony Bobo. Clarksville Police Department detectives obtained a search warrant for Bobo's Lylewood Road home and when officers had the home surrounded Bobo attempted to flee by jumping out a second story window. Bobo sustained serious injuries in his attempt to flee, and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment before being booked into jail.

Bobo was charged with aggravated robbery and was held on a $150,000 bond. Police said he has a extensive out of state criminal history involving robberies and other violent crimes.
