19-year-old Rebecca Leigh Ferguson and 18-year-old Allen Lee Poole
SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – Two people were arrested after a meth lab was found inside a vehicle during a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Walmart in Springfield.
The Robertson County Sheriff's Office Narcotic's Unit along with the Springfield Police Department's Narcotics Unit stopped a suspicious vehicle on Wednesday night.
The lab was discovered, and then safely contained and removed from the vehicle. The lab and excess chemicals were packaged and turned over to the Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force for disposal.
The occupants of the vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Rebecca Leigh Ferguson and 18-year-old Allen Lee Poole, were decontaminated and arrested without incident.
They were booked into the Robertson County Detention Center. Ferguson was charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia. Poole was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia along with initiation of a process intended to result in the manufacture of meth.
