NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Davidson County health officials want to spread the word about the West Nile Virus after the first human case was reported in Antioch.
They handed out flyers to people on Thursday, telling them things they can do to try to avoid mosquito bites.
They also pointed out some breeding grounds for mosquitos that they found, including overgrown vegetation and places where standing water collects.
Health officials have not released any details about the person who contracted the disease, except that they live in Antioch.
