NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Nashville firefighter was injured while battling a fire in west Nashville on Thursday.
The home was fully involved when fire crews got on the scene shortly after 5 p.m. at the home in the 8000 block of Highway 70 South. They were able to knock it down quickly, but a fire truck got stuck in the driveway.
Officials said a firefighter suffered minor burns to his leg and was treated on the scene.
The house was heavily damaged in the fire.
Only one person lived in the house and was not injured.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
