McDonald's Manager Allegedly Sold Drugs At Work

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A fast food restaurant manager has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs while at work.

Orlando Ramon Head, 38, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with selling two ounces of marijuana for $220 to a police operative.

Police said Head allegedly accepted the cash at the front counter of the McDonald's on Robinson Road before directing the undercover operative to an SUV in the parking lot from where the marijuana was retrieved.

A probation violation warrant is also expected to be filed. Head was sentenced to ten years in 2004 for selling cocaine. He also has convictions for reckless endangerment and aggravated assault in the 1990s.

Will Mason III, the local owner/operator of the McDonald's Restaurant on Robinson Road issued this statement Friday:

"We are currently investigating and speaking to other employees, but at this point believe this is isolated to one individual. I condemn this type of behavior, it is not consistent with my values, nor McDonald's values. We are co-operating fully with the police department in their investigation."
