Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Some areas in Middle Tennessee could see frost overnight Monday into Tuesday morning as temperatures dip into the mid-30s.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement about the possibility of scattered frost as a Canadian Air Mass settles in Middle Tennessee.

NWS said the best chance for frost will be in areas around Clarksville, Dickson, Waverly, Springfield and Ashland City.

Anyone with tender plants or flowers outdoors should consider covering them or bringing them inside to avoid frost damage.
