Brentwood Teen Critical But Stable After Skateboard Accident

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A mid-state teen remains in critical condition after a skateboarding accident over the weekend.

Authorities say the 15-year-old was holding on to the back of his friend's car and surfing down the street on his long board when he lost his balance around 5 p.m. Friday on River Oaks Road.

Assistant Chief David Windrow said the teen suffered serious head injuries. The Brentwood Academy student remains in critical, but stable condition at Vanderbilt.
