NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have identified a 73-year-old woman killed in a crash in Old Hickory on Wednesday morning.
Janice Farr, who was not wearing her seatbelt, died after her car was struck by a van as she attempted to turn left onto Old Hickory Boulevard from the Riverside Golf Center around 6 a.m.
Farr had dropped off a family member shortly before the crash, according to police on the scene Wednesday.
The driver of the van, along with a passenger, were not injured.
Police said there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol at the scene. No charges were filed.
