Shooting Reported In South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have responded to a shooting in south Nashville near Apollo Drive.

Officers received a call of a person shot in the area of Apollo Drive and Jason Drive in South Nashville around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.Metro Police tell us a 25-year-old man was walking on Apollo Drive when 4 people drove by.

Police were told the people in the car told him to give them his stuff. When he said he didn't have anything they shot him twice.The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

The victim's name and condition were not released.

Police said the suspects left in a gray vehicle.
