No One Hurt In South Nashville House Fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No one was hurt in a house fire in south Nashville on Thursday morning.

The blaze broke out around 8 a.m. at a home on Oriel Street, near the Woodbine area, but it was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

Officials said the fire was contained to one room in the home. The fire chief said a space heater was knocked over and started the fire.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Investigators remained on the scene.
