One Person Shot In East Nashville Parking Lot

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police were called to the scene of a shooting in a parking lot in East Nashville Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the shooting occurred in the 900 block of Dickerson Road around 3 p.m. Police said a man was shot twice and walked into the Star Market at this location.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. He was said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The victim's name was not released. Police have not released any suspect information.
