Residents Meet, Discuss ‘SoBro’ Plans

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Changes will soon be coming to the South of Broadway, known to developers and local residents as "SoBro".

A community meeting was held Friday to allow folks to help the design team that's now testing concepts and ideas for the future of the borough. Over 100 people attended the meeting and share their thoughts and opinions.

The plan has been developed through a $400,000 federal grant and hopes to bring with it bike paths and pedestrian bridges to connect the roundabout at the Music City Center to the gulch. New office buildings, apartments, and restaurant space are also expected.
