Meth Lab Discovered Near Elementary School, Two Arrested

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A portion of Bell Road was shut down for several hours Friday following the discovery of a meth lab.

Metro Police, Fire fighters, and SWAT team meambers were all called to a home on Bell Road around 3 p.m. Friday to a scene of what sources close to the investigation are called a possible meth lab.

Police arrested convicted felon Terry Craighead, 43, and Ashley Wardlaw, 26, at the scene.Craighead has previous felony drug convictions. Wardlaw has previous convictions for drug possession and theft.

Officials said those arrested in this case would likely face addition charges because the meth lab was located very close to Lakeview Design Elementary School.
