NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No injuries were reported in a two-alarm apartment fire on West End.
Smoke was visible when the first firefighters got on scene in the 3000 block of West End around 10:30 a.m. Monday. All of the residents were already out of the building when firefighters arrived.
A second alarm was sounded around 11 a.m. to help relieve the firefighters.
Officials said it was a difficult fire to put out because the fire got inside the walls, and there were strong winds in the area.
At least three units were damaged in the blaze. The Red Cross responded Red Cross to work with anyone who may need a place to stay or immediate relief.
The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
