NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A crash with multiple vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, hampered the morning commute on Tuesday morning on Interstate 65 north.

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Armory Drive exit. By 9 a.m., the backup extended 11 miles, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

An ambulance was on the scene, but it was unclear what kind of injuries were reported.

A Hazmat team was also called out due to a fuel leak from the 18-wheeler.

The crash was cleared by 11 a.m.
