Lacarvis Miller
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A convicted felon was arrested following a stabbing in Franklin Saturday night.
Police found a large crowd gathered around a 32-year-old man who had been stabbed in his chest and arm outside a home on Natchez Street around 8:45 p.m. Witnesses told officers that 28-year-old Lacarvis Miller had fled the scene after stabbing the man. Police said it was believed a fight over a woman led to the stabbing.
Miller was taken into custody about 20 minutes later, several blocks away.
The unidentified victim was taken to a Nashville hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.
Miller is a convicted felon with a history of weapon and drug charges. Records show that he was released from prison on August 1.
Miller was charged with Aggravated Assault, and remains in the Williamson County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
