NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A new movie is being filmed in Nashville this week.

"The Identical" stars Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta, Seth Green, and Joe Pantoliano.

The shooting locations include Music Row, the Grand Ole Opry and the War Memorial Auditorium.

The film follows a musical family from the 1950's through the history of Rock and Roll. Actors said Nashville is helping them get into character as musicians.

"Nashville is the perfect mix for this town. It's amazing we'll do some new songs here then we'll go out at night and here some new music on the town. It keeps us all in the spirit of this film," said actress Erin Cottrell.

"The Identical" is scheduled for release in the fall 2013.
