MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - A grand jury in western Kentucky will decide whether to formally charge a West Tennessee man in the death of a woman who was run over.

According to the Murray Ledger & Times, charges of murder, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident against James Paul Cook of McLemoresville, Tenn., were bound over to the grand jury on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old Cook has been in jail since his September 4 arrest in the death of 37-year-old Desiree Moore of Puryear, Tennessee.

The court refused defense attorney Cheri Riedel's motion for a property bond for Cook, calling him a danger to the public.

Investigators said Moore was run over by a van that matched the description of one Cook was later found driving.
