NASHVILLE, Tenn. –Mayor Dean was on hand to cut the ribbon at
the grand opening of the newly completed East Nashville Fire Station.
The
$3.8 million project will be the replacement fire station which
will house Engine 3 and Ladder 3. The new building was designed to blend in
with the neighborhood and was made with solar roof panels and an electric vehicle
charging station.
The 15,500 square foot
building was built on existing station site and was overseen by Metro General
Services.
