MANCHESTER, Tenn.- A man who police called a violent sex offender has been arrested in Coffee County.
Manchester Police have been searching for 22-year-old Jason Blake Holt since early October. He allegedly cut off his GPS monitoring device on October 6 and went missing with his wife Sara. Holt had past convictions for rape of a child.
Holt was arrested Thursday after he was found in an area near the Walls of Jericho natural area near the Tennessee/Alabama state line. Police said Holt's wife convinced him to turn himself into police.
Holt was being held in the Coffee County Jail under a $1 million bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on October 29, 2012.
