MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Police said a man was stabbed in a parking lot near a popular restaurant in Murfreesboro.

Police said several people met in the parking lot near Medical Center and Thompson Lane, near Bonefish Grill, around 5 p.m. Thursday. Two of them began to argue, and then a physical fight broke out.

One of the men was stabbed during the fight. The victim drove himself to Middle Tennessee Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition.

The suspect was taken into custody and interviewed. There was no word if he was charged, or what charges he may face.
