MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- A man has been arrested after leaving the scene of a crash involving a Metro School bus.
The crash happened Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. near the area of Murfreesboro Road and Bell Road. Police said that nine special needs students on board when the bus was struck. No
one on the bus was hurt.
Officials said a man hit the bus fled the scene. After several witness called police and gave a description of the car, police were able to locate the man near Murfreesboro
Pike and Edge-O-Lake Drive.
Charles
Higginbotham, 27, was arrested and charged with leaving
the scene of crash, driving on a revoked license and failure to appear in court
on a previously issued citation for driving on a revoked license.
