NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police are searching for a masked gunman who robbed a Bell Road business Friday afternoon.
Officials said the robbery occurred at that Cash Express at 453 Bell Road, around 1 p.m. The suspect came into the store and demanded cash from a female employee. Police said the employee complied and the suspect fled the building.
While making his escape a resident of the neighboring trailer park confronted the suspect and the two fought. The man was able to get away from the Good Samaritan and fled to a newer model silver Explorer which he had left in the nearby parking lot of Shipley Donuts.
At the time of the robbery the man was wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood, blue jeans, white shoes and a ball cap.
Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
