UNIONVILLE, Tenn. - Funeral services were held Sunday for two Bedford County grandparents killed in a September house fire which has left both of their grandchildren missing.
Friends and family gathered in a small cemetery to say goodbye to Leon and Molly McClaran.
"It was great to see so many friends and family coming out. The two families came out to comfort each other. To grieve with us through this ordeal," said Marron McClaran, Leon's younger brother.
Originally investigators believed 9-year-old Chloie Leverett and her 7-year-old brother Gage Daniel were killed in the same house fire which killed their grandparents, but their bodies were never found. Authorities still have an active amber alert out for both children who haven't been seen in over a month.
"We want some answers," Marron added.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Chloie or Gage is asked to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
