NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A lockdown has been lifted for an elementary school in Hermitage after Metro police officers searched for a man believed to have assaulted an officer.
Dodson Elementary was placed on lockdown shortly before 11 a.m. Monday as officers searched for the man, who was not identified.
The lockdown ended around 12:30 p.m.
It was unclear if the man was arrested, or if police believed he had fled the area.
No students were hurt.
