NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A political cartoon in a Chattanooga newspaper has sparked a new controversy around embattled US Congressman, Scott DesJarlais.

The Times Free Press printed a cartoon of DesJarlais titled "Character Assassination"-- depicting him with a gun in his mouth. The artist said it was a response to DesJarlais calling reports that he had an affair with a patient and got her pregnant, 'character assassination.'

But some of DesJarlais' staffers didn't care for the cartoon and called the editor of the Times Free Press, saying they'd alerted Capitol Police.  The paper stands by the cartoon.
