SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Smith County man on sex charges involving a minor.

Frank Arthur Young, 26, was indicted Monday by the Smith County Grand Jury on 12 counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.

An investigation launched earlier this month by the TBI found Young engaged in a sexual relationship with a male child on numerous occasions and exchanged explicit photos of the victim through his cell phone from June 2010 to March 2012.

Young was booked into the Smith County Jail on $50,000 bond.
