WHITE HOUSE, Tenn.- Two young brothers from White House have been named the 2012 Sports Illustrated Kids SportsKids of the Year.

Brothers Connor Green, 9, and Cayden Long, 7, will be honored in the December issue of Sports Illustrated Kids. The two were nominated for the award after Sports Illustrated was notified of their inspiring story of brotherly love.

Cayden was born with Cerebal Palsy and can't talk or walk on his own, but Conner's help he takes part in triathlons. In the competitions, Conner pushes Cayden in a stroller during the run portion, pulls him in a raft in the swim and pulls him in a trailer during the bike race.

"The spirit that Conner and Cayden show every day, and in every race, is in perfect keeping with what we look for in our annual SportsKid of the Year search," said SI Kids Managing Editor and Publisher Bob Der. "They are true examples of the good that can be accomplished through sports and we are proud to honor them."

Since 2011, the brothers have competed in more than a dozen triathlons.

Conner and Cayden will participate in a photo shoot for the December issue of SI KIDS, which will be in homes and on newsstands in late-November.
