NASHVILLE, Tenn.-
Metro Police are warning fans to be on the lookout for counterfeit tickets to
the November 4th game between the Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears.
Police said that counterfeit
tickets for this game have already begun to show up in the Nashville area. A
local fan told police she bought what she believe to be two real tickets for
$125 each, only to discover later that at the Titans Ticket Office that they
were fake.
Officials believe
the high demand for the already sold out Titans-Bears game has led to the
increase in counterfeiting.
Police are
reminding local residents to only buy tickets from people they know well or the
NFL's official ticket resale platform, www.nfl.com/ticketexchange.
