Residents Pack The Streets For Franklin’s Pumpkinfest
FRANKLIN, Tenn.- With Halloween just days away residents packed the streets of downtown Franklin for a festival that got everyone into the holiday spirit.
This year marked the 29th year for the annual Pumpkinfest that has become one of Franklin's most popular traditions. It was a day packed with fun events for the kids including live music, costume contests, games, and more.
"Pumpkinfest is the one of the biggest events we have here in downtown Franklin,' said Nancy Williams.
Some 75,000 visitors packed into the downtown area to take part in the festivities. Residents were able to also able to get in some early holiday shopping with a variety of arts and crafts booths that filled Main street.
