Hotel Room Fire Causes Evacuation In Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.- Hotel patrons at a Brentwood Hotel were evacuated after a room caught fire Saturday evening.

Officials said a fire began in one of the rooms of the Mainstay Suites in Brentwood around 6:30 p.m. One person was treated for non-life threatening injuries from fire. Police said a guest was cooking inside a room and caught it on fire.

The hotel was evacuated while fire crews worked to control and put out the fire.
