NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two people were injured when a dump truck collided with a truck before rolling over a guardrail into the embankment in Hermitage on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12:20 p.m. on at the on-ramp to Old Hickory Boulevard from Central Pike.
Police said the dump truck hit a TDOT truck with flashing sign markers, then went over a guard rail, hit a brush cutter and went into the bushes.
The driver of the dump truck along with the driver of the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
No word on what caused the crash or if charges will be filed.
The on-ramp was expected to remain blocked until 5:30 p.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation website.
