Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Old Hickory Boulevard

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The person hit and killed by a car on Old Hickory Boulevard late Friday night in Hermitage has been identified.

Officials said it was on Old Hickory Boulevard between Central Pike and Interstate 40 around 9:30p.m when 57-year old Kirk Duke was struck by a pick-up truck.

Investigators say there was not a crosswalk where Duke attempted to cross the street. Police say the driver who hit Duke wasn't speeding or under the influence and will not be charged.
