One Killed In Night Club Shooting In Clarksville

Posted: Updated:

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A man was shot and killed inside a night club in Clarksville early Saturday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday  at C-Ray's Social Club on Ft. Campbell Boulevard.

When investigators arrived to process the scene, they found 20-year-old Malcom Rashaad Wright lying on a wooded ramp outside the back of the club. Police said he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and later died at the hospital.

Investigators said they had very little cooperation from witnesses, but they believe several people were fighting inside before someone opened fire.

Wright had been wanted in for robbing a Clarksville gas station at gunpoint in August. He was also named as a suspect in connection with the shooting of an 8-year-old girl in Hopkinsville, Kentucky in October.

Anyone with any information about this shooting is urged to call the tips line anonymously at (931) 645--8477.
