Man Injured In ATV Wreck Northwest Of Nashville - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Search and rescue crews were called out to locate a man who crashed while riding an ATV.

The incident happened Thursday at a heavily wooded area near Pecan Valley Road, off Ashland City Highway near Scottsboro and just northwest of Davidson County's John C. Tune Airport.

The male victim was apparently hurt, but remained conscious. The extent of his injuries was unknown.

Sky 5 HD flew over the scene and found an ambulance from the Nashville Fire Department and other rescue vehicles on the scene.

Crews found the victim in the woods. He was being transported by ground to an area hospital.
