CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Tenn. – Authorities in Cumberland County said they are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead inside a home on Wednesday.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said 58-year-old Kimberly Batty was found inside a home on Dovenshire Drive after someone called 911.

The cause of her death was not released, but the victim's body was taken to the Tennessee Medical Examiner's Office in Nashville for autopsy.

Authorities said their investigation is ongoing, but did not release any other details. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was also called in to help investigate.
