CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A Clarksville mom was issued a DUI after being pulled over with a 5-year old in the backseat, even though she never took a sip of alcohol.

Officers responded to a crash on Liberty Parkway and found 34-year-old Kellie Cottotorres disoriented and slurring her speech.

An investigation revealed Cottotorres was on several prescription medications when she swiped a utility pole and rear-ended a car.

Her 5-year old daughter was also in the car, but unharmed. A friend picked up the young girl.

Cottotorres was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, and following too closely.

Her bond was set at $1,750.
