Police: Man Pulls Gun On Good Samaritan During Dispute
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was taken into custody after allegedly pulling a gun on a Good Samaritan during a domestic dispute overnight at a home in West Nashville.
An affidavit said police were called to the 600 block of 39th avenue North on Sunday night for an alleged kidnapping after the Good Samaritan said he saw a woman being grabbed by the throat and being pulled into a car.
The Good Samaritan told police he tried to step in, but the suspect grabbed the gun from the Good Samaritan's waistband and pointed it at him, and told him "do not move."
The man and the female victim drove away, but were later tracked down during a traffic stop near Buena Vista near Tucker Road. The man, identified as Justin Davis, was taken into custody.
The female victim was not hurt.
Davis was jailed on a number of charges, including aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon and drugs.
