BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green has opened a food pantry for students or staff members in need of emergency food assistance.
The pantry is open two days a week. Students or staff can pick up five days' worth of meals and can use the food pantry a total of six times a year.
It also gives out personal hygiene products.
Individuals as well as Western's Parent's Council helped stock the pantry. A Facebook page created for the pantry says it is seeking more donations as the holidays approach.
