NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police arrested an armed robber just minutes after he stole a number of pills from a local pharmacy.
Officials said the Target Pharmacy on North Gallatin Pike in Madison was robbed Monday afternoon. Police said that soon after the pharmacy was robbed the suspect's getaway car was spotted near the intersection of Dickerson Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard and officers were able to quickly arrest armed robbery suspect Richard Pottinger.
Police found a gun and oxycodone pills inside the car. A Target employee later identified Pottinger as the robber.
