Stabbing Investigated In North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police were called out to investigate a stabbing in North Nashville Wednesday afternoon.

Officials said a man was stabbed after being approached by two men he didn't know who were asking for cigarettes. It was unclear happened during the exchange, but the man was stabbed in the upper arm.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Police have not released any suspect information.
