Motorcycle Officer Injured In Fender Bender With Detective

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Metro Police officer was taken to the hospital after a fender bender with an undercover detective.

Police said the detective ran a red light and hit a motorcycle officer around 11 p.m. Wednesday near Third Avenue and Church Street.

Authorities said the motorcycle officer was transported to the hospital with some injuries, but was later released.

Names were not immediately released.

No word if charges will be filed.
