Nearly 100 Guns Collected At ‘Gift Cards For Guns' Event

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -Dollar General teamed up with Metro Police for the "Gift Cards for Guns" event on Saturday and collected nearly 100 guns.

During the event any Davidson County resident was able to safely exchange firearms for a $25 gift card to Dollar General or Dollar General Market-- no questions asked.

The event collected 91 guns as well as 39 pounds of outdated and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medication.
